| dc.description.abstract | The Yogyakarta earthquake on May 27, 2006 resulted in a significant loss
of life of 24,661 people, of which 4,674 people died, and 19,897 people
suffered minor and major injuries. Among the initiatives to lower the
possibility of major losses and casualties resulting from earthquakes is to
conduct regular monitoring of building vulnerability. Especially for the
vulnerability of residential buildings, more attention must be paid and the
level of vulnerability assessed because the majority of the biggest losses
in earthquake disasters confusing are found in residential Structures.The
The objective of this study is to determine the vulnerability of residential
buildings and evaluate the community's preparedness for earthquakes, in
Muja Muju village with a high risk area, Warungboto village with a
medium risk area and Baciro village with a low risk. BNPB has made
mitigation efforts, one of which is by making a building vulnerability
measurement tool in the form of the ACeBS android application which
has been tested in several cities in Indonesia since 2019. Considering the
results of the assessment of residential buildings' susceptibility using the
ACeBS application in the three locations reviewed, the results of the
vulnerability level with a very vulnerable classification with a percentage
of 47% in Muja Muju village, the percentage level with a vulnerable
classification with a total percentage of 53% in Baciro village and how
vulnerable is buildings with the largest classification of not vulnerable
