| dc.description.abstract | The development of information technology in the construction sector is growing rapidly. Virtual
building technology with a computing system was developed with the principle of Building
Information Modeling (BIM), capable of creating 3D modeling in the construction sector
(architecture, structure and MEP). Naviswork is an application that helps in the design process
and scheduling an architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work that works
on a project. The features found in Naviswork are clash detection, timeliner, animator,
quantification workbook, etc. The construction of the Faculty of Health Sciences University
Jendral Soedirman building has used the BIM concept by making 3D models with Tekla
Structures. In previous studies, the project has been scheduled using the Barchart method. In this
study, the PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) method will be used so that the scheduling is more
specific. From the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of BIM on the
Naviswork software in the Time Schedule of project implementation can help simulate project
implementation and detect if there is a clash between work items. The results of Naviswork also
greatly affect the 3D Model and Time Schedule of the MS Project. The results of this study get the
difference in the duration of the implementation due to differences in the use of methods in project
scheduling, namely PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) and Barchart where the PDM method
is more specific work relationships and there are restrictions on the number of resources. | en_US |
