    Abstract
The implementation of the Pekanbaru city wastewater pipeline construction project is likely to raise many risks that must be considered by stakeholders because the impact of the risks is detrimental and can affect the overall project completion with regard to time, cost, and quality. This research describes the implementation of risk management in the Pekanbaru city wastewater pipeline construction project based on the risk management concept of ISO 31000:2018. The questionnaire survey is the first phase of the data collection for the research project in order to obtain risk level and risk respond. Then, the survey results are validated based on the respondent’s opinion from the interview. Based on interview, it was also known the risk control undertaken by stakeholders to resolve the risks. In the whole process of risk management, the implementation of the ISO 31000:2018 was only achieved 87,5%, this happens because the risk analysis is only carried out by the contractor while others do not. Therefore, only contractors implement completely of the risk management process according to ISO 31000:2018.
