    Abstract
    This research was conducted to treatment of batik waste with combination method electrolysis using Pb/PbO2 electrode and adsorption using carbon active, zeolite and kaolin. The waste treatment intend at degradation the color substance and decreasing the concentration of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in waste batik. The color degradation and COD concentration reduction process was peformed on an electrolysis reactor equipped with Pb/PbO2 electrode and current source (power supply), then waste was adsorpbed using carbon active, zeolite and kaolin in batch system. In this research, variations of adsorben mass to determine the optimal conditions of COD concentration reduction. Then the sampel of treatment batik waste with combination method electrolysis and adsorption process was analyzed by using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The result showed that the degradation of the color can be achieved by using electrolysis and the COD concentration reduction were achieved by using combination method electrolysis and adsorption with optimum condition on mass variation of 10 and 15 g carbon active with decrease of COD concentration (99% and 98.9%) and on mass variation if 10 and 15 g of kaolin with decrease COD concentration (99.3% and 99.4%). Telah dilakukan penelitian pengolahan limbah batik dengan metode kombinasi elektrolisis menggunakan elektroda Pb/PbO2 dan adsorpsi menggunakan arang aktif, zeolite dan kaolin. Pengolahan limbah batik bertujuan untuk mendegradasi zat warna dan menurunkan konsentrasi Chemical Oxyegen Demand (COD) pada limbah batik. Proses degradasi zat warna dan penurunan konsentrasi COD ini dilakukan dalam reaktor elektrolisis yang dilengkapi dengan katoda, anoda dan sumber arus (power supply), lalu diadsorpsi menggunakan adsorben arang aktif, zeolite dan kaolin dalam system batch. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan variasi massa dari adsorben untuk mengetahui kondisi penurunan konsentrasi COD yang paling optimum. Sampel hasil pengolahan limbah batik dianalisis menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa degradasi zat warna sudah dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan metode elektrolisis dan penurunan konsentrasi COD dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi elektrolisis dan adsorbsi, dengan kondisi optimum pada variasi massa 10 dan 15 g arang aktif dengan penurunan konsentrasi COD (99% dan 98,9%) dan pada variasi massa 10 dan 15 g kaolin dengan penurunan konsentrasi COD (99,3% dan 99,4%).
