    Abstract
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh aspek indikator ekonomi seperti Gross Domestic Product (GDP), jumlah populasi, migrasi penduduk, dan Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) terhadap tingkat deforestasi. Obyek penelitian ini terdiri dari lima negara dengan hutan terluas di dunia yaitu Brazil, China, Canada, Russia dan Indonesia. Metode analisis menggunakan model Fixed Effect dengan regresi data panel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, variabel GDP berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat deforestasi. Sedangkan variabel jumlah populasi dan FDI berpengaruh negatif terhadap tingkat deforestasi. Variabel migrasi penduduk tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat deforestasi
