This research examines whether unemployment, education that is proxied to school enrollment rates (Elementary School, Junior Haigh School and Senior High School) and per capita GDRP are responsible for poverty in Central Java. By employing panel data of 35 regencies/cities in Jawa Tengah that spans from 2011 to 2015. The discussed issue is about the effect of simultaneous or partial influence of unemployment, education, and per capita GDRP on poverty in Central Java. In this research, F-test result shows that all variabels simultaneously affect poverty in Central Java Province. T-test shows that unemployment has a positif and partially significant effect on poverty, because when unemployment rate decrease, then poverty rate will decrease. The education proportioned through primary enrollment rates has a negatif and non-partially significant effect, the participation rate of junior and senior high school has a negatif and partially significant effect on poverty in Central Java province, as any increase in literacy rate will reduce poverty rate. And the per capita GDRP is negatifly and insignificantly partial to poverty due to the inequality of population distribution in Central Java.en_US
