    Abstract
    In an effort to reduce the cost of the building, one way is to use cheaper materials such as waste-disposal waste processing natural results. One of the waste that is bagasse which is a waste product of sugar manufacturing process. Utilization of bagasse to produce by burning bagasse ash. Bagasse ash content of the element itself has reached 70% silica that can be used as a pozzolan and as an alternative material added manufacturing paving block. With the added material bagasse ash is expected to improve the performance of block paving and can make a positive contribution towards waste utilization. The composition of the mixture used for paving block is 1pc: 6PS fas value 0.35 while bagasse ash as an ingredient added use from 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% of the weight of cement in the one variation. The process of making paving blocks made using hydraulic pressing machines and vibrator. Tests performed at age> 28 days after the process of the test specimen. From the test results obtained, each additional bagasse ash can increase the value of a strong and powerful urges flexibility on block paving, strongly urged the value of the highest average obtained in the addition of 10% bagasse ash in the amount of 306.07 kg/cm2 and the highest flexural strength addition of 10% bagasse ash in the amount of 31.19 kg/cm2. The more the addition of bagasse ash resulted in greater water absorption on the paving block. Water absorption value of the highest average in the addition of 10% bagasse ash is equal to 7.52%.
