    Abstract
Social media significantly benefits students to help them manage their university problems especially as an English learning tool. This survey study identifies the experience of students using social media for English learning in higher education by undergraduate English learners in one of the private universities in Indonesia. The study applied survey questionnaire developed by Noori et al (2022). which consists of 11 items and 10 items includes students’ experience in using social media in EFL learning. the 10 items rated using a five point Likert scale. The findings indicated that social media is flexible for students to use for a learning tool. The findings imply that social media should be encouraged and integrated into the modern classroom to improve students’ performance.
