Teaching students having low motivation is one of the complex aspects in education. Low motivation in students can come from a multitude of factors, each of which necessitates an individualized strategy to address it. The aim of this best practice is to report teaching techniques that I implemented during the Kampus Mengajar program. Through the program, I had the opportunity to get involved directly in the school by teaching English using Total Physical Response (TPR) to low motivated eighth grade students of Secondary School. During a lesson with Total Physical Response (TPR), students demonstrated their understanding by showing physical movements in response to orders provided by the teacher. The implemented method indicated that the TPR technique can facilitate the English learning of low-motivated students as seen from the students' activeness and attendance in class.en_US
