Analisis Jenis Agregat Halus Sungai Gendol, Sungai Progo, dan Abu Batu Terhadap Kuat Tekan, Kuat Tarik Belah, dan Modulus Elastisitas Pada Beton
Abstract
Aggregate is one of the materials that make up concrete which functions as a filler
material for the concrete mixture. Fine aggregate is aggregate with small grain sizes,
less than 5 mm in size. Of course there are various types of fine aggregate used. This
difference in the type of fine aggregate may affect the quality of the concrete. This
research used fine aggregates from the Gendol River, Progo River, and stone ash. The
research test object is cylindrical with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. The
tests in this research were concrete compressive strength, concrete split tensile strength,
and concrete modulus of elasticity. Concrete mix planning is carried out based on SNI
2834-2000 with the planned concrete quality of 25 MPa.
The research results show that the type of fine aggregate influences compressive
strength, split tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity. The research results show that
concrete with fine aggregate of the Sungai Gendol type produces the highest compressive
strength, split tensile strength, and theoretical modulus of elasticity with values
respectively 27.84 MPa, 2.62 MPa, and 25214.63 MPa. The Progo River type has the
highest tested modulus of elasticity with a value of 25576.41 MPa. This type of rock ash
has the lowest compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, test modulus of elasticity,
and theoretical elastic modulus with values respectively 23.36 MPa, 2.19 MPa, 21709.07
MPa, and 22777.57 MPa.
