Hubungan Antara Religiositas Dan Kepribadian Tahan Banting (Hardiness) Dengan Intensi Turnover Pada Karyawan
Abstract
This research tried to investigate the relation between religiosity and
hardiness with employees’ turnover intention. The hypothesis tested is based on
the assumption that the higher the religiosity the lower employee turnover
intention, and that such relation is moderated by hardiness. The subject of this
research was the employee of one chain restaurant Yogyakarta, numbering to 75
employees.
Data were collected with three scales, there were turnover intention
dimension from Tett and Mayer (1993), the religious adaptation and modification
from Raiya, (2008) and the hardiness scale from Bartone’s theory (2008), which
modified according to a systematic technique of differential.
The data collection analyzed by using tiered regression. The result of this
research showed that religiosity significantly affect to turnover intention, with
scores R=0,074, P=0,018 (P<0,05). The hardiness also significantly affect to
turnover intention, with scores R=0,291, P=0,000 (P<0,05). Hardiness was not the
role of moderator with scores R=0,328, P=0,005 (P>0,05) which not significant.
