Evaluasi Kriteria Kerusakan Bangunan Rumah Tinggal Sederhana Akibat Gempa Bumi
Abstract
Indonesia is a country that has a high level of vulnerability to the threat of natural
disasters, including earthquakes. The events of these earthquake have resulted in
extensive damage to buildings that resulted in fatalities. Based on the literature of Cipta
Karya (Bakornas, 2006), the criterias of earthquake damage categorized into three (3)
categories, namely severely damaged, moderate damaged and minor damage. There are
some differences in determining damage of each each region. Standard criteria for
damage to buildings from different areas can be compared in order to obtain a more
complete standard criteria. The knowledge of Pengetahuan Badan Penaggulangan
Bencana Daerah (BPBD) about the standard criteria for a simple dwelling house damage
illustrates that the higher the level of knowledge of the preparedness evaluate the damage
to a simple dwelling house is also higher. The purpose of this research is to create a
complete standard criteria for damage to simple dwelling house and find out bout the
knowledge that DPBD has which is related to the standard criteria of simple dwelling
house damage.
This research uses descriptive method as troubleshooting procedures investigated
by describing / depicting the state of the subject / object of research. This research object
is affected areas in the event of an earthquake on 27 May 2006 and the earthquake of
September 2, 2009. The subjects were employees BPBDs Bogor Regency,
BandungRegency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Government of Yogyakarta Special Region,
Banyumas Regency and surveyor Rekompak. The method used to collect data is to
interview data and literature. Methods of analysis of this study using quantitative data
analysis methods.
The interview and the data literature as compared obtained standard criteria for
damage to residential buildings that complement each other, namely the category of
minor damage to the criteria of the building still standing, there was no damage to the
structure, there is only damage to architectural components, physical damage <30%, the
category of moderately damaged by criteria the building is still standing, a small portion
is damaged structural components and architectural components damaged, physical
damage 30% -70%, and the category was heavily damaged with collapsed building
criteria or most components of damaged structures, physical damage> 70%. The new
standard damage criteria used as a pilot study questionnaires filled out by respondents
BPBDs employees. BPBDs Government of Yogyakarta Special Region has the highest
percentage of lightly damaged category with the criteria of the respondents "Very Know"
that is equal to 23.81% and the criteria of the respondents "Know" the highest is BPBDs
Kulon Progo is equal to 92.86%. The results about knowledge related to standard to
criteria of simple dwelling house can describe preparedness BPBDs in evaluating damage
to buildings. The higher the percentage of respondents' knowledge with the criteria "Very
Know" and "Know" the higher the preparedness of the Regional Disaster Management
Agency in assessing damage to residential buildings is simple.
