Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis pada Mahasiswa yang Mengikuti Organisasi
Abstract
This study attempted to search the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in students who follow the organization. Respondents in
this study were male and female students who joined in the organization.
Respondents ages ranges from 17-23 years old. Data collected by two scales includes the psychological well-being scale of the theory Carol D. Ryff (1995) and the social support scale of the theory Edward P. Sarafino (1994). Data were
collected using Spearman's Rho analysis. The results showed that social support was significantly correlated with psychological well-being with r = 0.673, p = 0.000. This shows that the hypothesis in this research is accepted. In addition, the
results showed that all aspects of social support had a significant effect on
psychological well-being with significance value p = 0,000 (p <0.05). Additional
analysis results also show that there is no difference in the level of social support
and psychological well-being levels between male and female respondents. In
addition, it was found that there was no difference in social support and
psychological well-being based on the age and duration of respondents following
the organization.
