    Abstract
Difable Friendly Vehicle also known as DFV 1 had been designed. It is Honda Kharisma which was modified into a three-wheeled vehicle and aims to facilitate people with disabilities while they are driving. This 2200 x 950 mm vehicle is furnished by a body, so people with disabilities were not looking different with people in general. DFV 1 has 2 front wheels and 1 rear wheel that the engine rotation is transmitted to the rear wheel through a chain and also wheels assembly are tend to like the motorcycle. From the identification that has been done, one of the problems at DFV 1 is on the wheels assembly that are still difficult to be installed and removed, so the routine maintenance are less efficient. Based on these problems, the innovation of the second DFV also known as DFV 2 has been done. This 2140 x 1200 mm vehicle is a four-wheeled vehicle modifications of Tossa Super Hercules 200 CC that uses a differential for transmitting the engine rotation to the rear wheel, so there are some important changes to the design of DFV 2. One of those changes is wheels assembly that are designed tend to like the car. On the DFV 2, disc bracket and upright have been designed on the wheels assembly in order for the installation and component release are easier than previous version. These components are a new components because DFV 1 does not have it. Disc bracket and upright are designed with SolidWorks 2013 software and also PowerMILL Pro 8.0 software for the manufacturing. Disc bracket and front upright are made on Hurco VMX 24 CNC machine uses aluminum 5052-H32 series, whereas that the rear upright use the default of Tossa with gray cast iron material and modified according to the caliper design. Some problems occured in the manufacturing process that have limited tools and measurement accuracy like diameter of bolt hole for swing arm ball joints on the front upright and velg keys on the disc bracket are too small, so improvement to the problematic part has been done according to the design. These components have safety factor greater than 1, which means the designs are safe.
