dc.description.abstractPlanning estimate cost for a project in these days is dominated by conventional methods. This results in numerous mistakes, inaccuracies, and waste material in project planning. Whereas, if the project’s funding have troublesome or missing, it will inflict obstacles while running the project. Utilizing the BIM method can make it simpler to eliminate errors in project planning since flaws in planning can be detected at the beginning, it can help the planners and also to avoid mistakes during implementation. BIM 5D is capable for making fast estimate on a variety of complex issues can be done effectively and efficiently. This study aims to obtain a cost estimate of structural work (rebar and concrete) using 5D BIM concept used by Revit software, then compare with actual construction cost and the estimated cost construction from project data used by Excel software. This will produce volume and cost margins to find out the difference in total costs between BIM 5D, data estimated project and actual implementaion. This research produces a cost estimate based on BIM 5D showing the price of materials needed for rebar and concrete structures is Rp 82.377.824, construction cost estimated from project data shows the price is Rp 117.847.403 and the actual cost shows the price is Rp 90.346.000. Using BIM 5D method can efficiently reduce material volume and estimated costs in construction projects, so the fact that BIM 5D concept can minimize overlap for construction planning can be more precise, able to optimize the estimated costs obtained.en_US
