Based on performance-based design, pushover analysis is used to forecast how buildings will behave during earthquakes. The approach is to gradually apply a pattern of static lateral loads on the structure until it reaches its target displacement. The analysis's findings take the form of base shear-roof displacement curves, which are then utilized to determine structural performance levels and performance points based on ATC-40, 1996. In this study, office buildings in Padang City were modeled using pushover analysis to determine the structural capacity curve, structural performance level, as well as plastic hinge mechanism that occurs against MCER-level seismic loads. This pushover analysis was performed using SAP2000 v22 software under the provisions of ATC-40, 1996. The results of the pushover analyze against the MCER level earthquake load were displacement values of 0.369742 m with a base force value of 21392.101 kN for the x direction and 0.365115 m with a base force value of 32408.387 kN for the y direction. The x direction performance point values are V = 20149.839 kN and δ = 0.309 m, whereas the Y direction performance point values are V = 26643.81 kN and δ = 0.231 m. According to the analysis, the structure's performance level under MCER seismic load was Damage Controlen_US
