Evaluasi Kesiapsiagaan Tanggap Darurat Kebakaran Di Fakultas Teknik Sipil Dan Perencanaan Universitas Islam Indonesia
Abstract
In college institutions are lots of activities which occurs in the campus. Faculty of
Civil Engineering and Planning Islamic University of Indonesia is a place that
has activities in the lab which using using a wide variety of electronic tools as
well as technical and specific chemicals. In this case could lead to a workplace
accident if not complied with the occupational health and safety procedures. One
example of workplace accidents which can occur in buildings is fire. Fire hazard
is one of the things which could be taken seriously because it will cause human
casualties and material losses. In Public Works of Government Regulation
number 26 of 2008 and number 20 of 2009 also the Indonesian National
Standard regarding to the fire protection system in a building which requires the
application of fire emergency response preparedness. In this evaluation using a
triangulation method where the data obtained and analyze based on observation,
in-depth interview, and documentation. Observations carried out on objects and
subjects to get a score such as fire extinguisher with score 97%, hydrant with
score 100%, fire detector with score 67%, sprinkler with score 0%, evacuation
route with score 100%, emergency stair with score 0%, emergency exit with
score 0%, operational procedures with score 67% and human resources with
score 75%. The next step is conducted in-depth interviews with several residents
of the buildings. The last step is documentation for the validity of research
results.After the data collected then draw the conclusion. The results show that
the quality of fire emergency response management has not completely fulfilled
the reference standard used. This is evidenced by the existence of categories that
have scores below 60%. However, in terms of fire emergency preparedness team
at FTSP UII Building has started to improve its quality by making Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP) of fire emergency response, training, and fire
emergency simulation.
