dc.description.abstractThis research aims to determine the effect of quality motivation, social motivation, education cost, and educational experience on student interest in participating competency certification. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this research are accounting students at Universitas Islam Indonesia. The sampling method that this research used is convenience sampling, with the criteria of accounting students in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 who are still active. The questionnaire was distributed via Google Form and obtained data as many as 150 respondents, which are used as samples in this research. The theory that this research used is Theory of Planned Behavior. The data in this research processed using SmartPLS. The results of this research prove that quality motivation, social motivation, education cost, and educational experience have a positive and significant effect on student interest in participating competency certification.en_US
