dc.description.abstract | Not all types of soil can be directly used as a consruction material. Like the experience of clay that has behavior on the ground in soft state, but not also in a liquid state. In this condition is a building that will be very not conducive so that the building is not stable because of clay by the air contained in the soil An unstable soil needs to be changed by stabilizing the parameters. Then the test is evaluated from the shear strength parameters and adjusted to 12 variations of the original soil mix + 5% Rotec + (0% / 5% / 10% / 15%) lime and variations of curing time for 1, 3, and 7 Days. Testing of soil shear strength parameter, optimum cohesion value ranges from percentage of lime addition between 5% -10%. And for the inner sliding angle, the more cent percent the addition of lime, the smaller the resulting shear angular value. In the consolidation parameter test, the more lime percent used with longer curing time, the smaller the value of Cc obtained | en_US |
