PENGARUH KOMITMEN PROFESIONAL, PENALARAN MORAL, RETALIASI, DAN EMOSI NEGATIF TERHADAP NIAT MELAKUKAN WHISTLEBLOWING
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of profesional commitment, moral-reasoning and retaliation on individual’s intentions to blow the whistle (PBW). The researcher also observed and examined empirically the effects of negative emotion in the form of guilt and shame on one’s intentions to blow the whistle. Instead of using data, this study uses population. The population in this research are permanent employees in the PT Jasa Marga Semarang Branch. This study used a survey method by means of questionnaire. All of the questionnaires were analyzed using multiple regression technique. There are five hypotheses proposed in this study. This study provides empirical evidence that profesional commitment, moral reasoning, retaliation, and shame affect the intentions to blow the whistle. This study did not find a significant correlating effect between guilt and intentions to blow the whistle.
