Perbandingan Kuantitas Penggunaan Antibiotik Berdasarkan Prescribed Daily Dose (PDD) Dan Defined Daily Dose (DDD) di Puskesmas Kotagede I Dan Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta Periode 2015
Abstract
An increase prevalence of the bacterial infection diseases eqivalent with high use of antibiotics that irrational. Are needed to be evaluated the quantity of antibiotic use in various health facilities such as Primary Health Care. This study aimed to describe the quantity of antibiotic use in Primary Helath Care Kotagede I and Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta period of 2015 using the based on unit Prescribed Daily Dose (PDD) with Defined Daily Dose (DDD). This study was an observational descriptive with retrospective cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted during March - May 2016. Data source used are the LPLPO and prescription of antibiotics peroral (tablets, caplets, and capsules) for six months in 2015. The selection of the month using simple random sampling. Research results showed the antibiotics prescribed in Primary Helath Care Kotagede I and Umbulharjo I is amoxicillin, doxycycline, metronidazole, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, and thiamphenicol, while azitromisin and cefixime only prescribed in Primary Helath Care Umbulharjo 1. The quantity of antibiotic prescribing the highest in 2015 is amoxicillin 500 mg as much 2020 (76.89%) in Primary Helath Care Kotagede I and 814 (65.28%) in Primary Helath Care Umbulharjo 1. There are significant difference (p < 0.05) on the use amoksisilin (p = 0,048) in Primary Helath Care Kotagede I and azitromisin (p = 0.006) in Primary Helath Care Umbulharjo 1, as for other types of antibiotics there is no significant difference.
