    Abstract
    Edge sanding machine is a engine which is used for abration process or smoothing something especially for something which has a flat surface. The problem of this machine is uneven abrasive of its sander, on its first condition can be overcame by loosing the fastener pulley between the sander, and then moving them until the worn-out part is covered by the machine table, or moving it down. On the other hand, the machine table condition is difficult to be set, this process is estimated time-consuming for it’s still done manually. According to the condition, it’s needed a new innovation for designing the edge sanding machine in order to avoid the time-consuming in the setting process. As for the purpose of this final task research is designing table lifting system of edge sanding machine that it is expected to be able to increase the productivity. The result of this research is a design of the table lifting system of the edge sanding machine after continuous improvement by using screw jack WJ201 coupled to the engine with a power of 7.5 Kw 1450 rpm that only need four secounds for the disposing process of the 20 mm table.
