dc.description.abstractJalan Raya Tempel - Turi an alternative road access to the area of Kaliurang, Pakem and later referred to as alternative to Solo. Over the years, this road has decreased the quality of service that is characterized by damage to the road surface due to the overloading of vehicles. If left no handling program in the long term will worsen pavement so that it can affect traffic safety and convenience. By using roughometer tool will generate the value of IRI (International Roughness Index), which is derived from the value of IRI service functions such roads PSI (Present Serviceability Index) and the condition of the road surface value of RCI (Road Condition Index). Then with the Metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987 can find additional pavement thickness required. Roughometer based tools that result in the value of IRI (International Roughness Index) obtained a yield of 3,78 m/km for directions Tempel - Turi and in the opposite direction Turi - Tempel was 6,15 m/km, but the value of IRI can not be considered as a determinant of road conditions and the handling of the program, therefore appear more methods among others Road Condition Index (RCI) to determine the condition of the pavement with the results showing a good level which is the average value for the direction Tempel - Turi amounted to 7,76 and moderate conditions for directions Turi – Tempel by 6,35. Other methods that effected by IRI value is the value of the performance of the road surface is expressed by the Present Serviceability Index (PSI) indicates the level of service functions that are less with the average value for the direction Tempel - Turi amounted to 1,90 and directions Turi - Tempel 1,10 , With the results of the analysis of the value of the PSI which indicates the level of service functions that are less, then Tempel - Turi road require a thick layer of pavement additional (overlay) of 6 cm obtained using Metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987, maintenance overlay performed on the all of segments because of a total 40 segments that service functions are obtained based on the value of the PSI according to Al-Omari and Darter (1994) is pretty much as 15%, less than 60% and much less by 25%, road conditions Tempel - Turi is dominated by the service function less and much less so required overlay on all segmentsen_US
