Evaluasi Kapasitas Saluran Drainase (Studi Kasus Jalan Godean Km 5,5 – 7, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta)
Abstract
Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is a province that is growing very rapidly. Various problems often
arise due to the rapid pace of development, one in Sleman ie inundation problem in the rainy season.
Drainage channel is a critical infrastructure for the drainage channel is designed to control
inundation due to an increase in surface runoff is mainly caused by the construction. This study raised
the condition of the state in the area of Godean KM 5.5 to 7, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The choice
of location is motivated by the circumstances in which almost every year during the rainy season the
water overflowing from the drainage channel, resulting in puddles that disrupt the activities of the
public and road users.
This research was conducted with reference to the primary data and secondary data exist.
Rainfall data is taken from the Central River Region Serayu Opak Sleman, while to know the
dimensions of the drainage system in Godean Street KM 5.5 - 7 refers to the data that is already
available. The analysis was conducted based on the rainfall data Gemawang stations in 2006 - 2015.
Based on statistical test Chi Square and Kolmogorov Smirnov, the distribution of the corresponding
data is logged Person III. Frequency analysis when the 2, 5, and 10 years was carried out to obtain
the intensity of rainfall IDF curves and design through Mononobe formula. Godean comprehensive
DTA is divided into 12 sub-DTA. Each - each Sub DTA has a main channel calculated maximum
capacity. Land use map is used to calculate the surface runoff coefficient (C). Runoff discharge (Qp) is
calculated using the Rational.
Drainage channels contained in Godean Street KM 5.5 - 7 there are two channels, namely a.)
Channels that can hold water well is located on the south side of road; b.) a channel that can not hold
water well is located on the north road. The cause of waterlogging on this channel during high
intensity rainfall is the design of drainage channels that do not pay attention to aspects of hydrology,
drainage channels that have been damaged, and the building closed drainage channels so that water
can not flow properly. Solutions that this research could be applied to areas of interest such as to
deepen and widen the channel dimensions, create a new drainage channel under the road surface,
making sewer - sewer, and others.
