Background : Fracture is discontinuity of bone structure that occurs as a result of trauma or pathological conditions. Fracture femur is one of the most common extremity fractures. The most common cause extremity fractures in the world are almost the same overall, accidents, falls, sports injuries, and violence. The large of vascularity in the femur region complicates hypovolemic shock when fracture occurs. One of the parameters of shock that can be seen is blood pressure. Various degrees of fracture will cause changes in blood pressure which are considered dynamic changes that need attention by health workers. Objectives : to determine the effect of femur fracture location on blood pressure patients at Islamic Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. Method : This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design. The data obtained are medical records of femoral fracture patients in 2016- 2020 at Islamic Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. Exclusion criteria included incomplete medical record data and hypertension. The data were then analyzed using SPSS with the one way anova test. Result : The number of data obtained in this study were 93 fracture cases. Samples that met the inclusion criteria were 48, while the other 45 samples were excluded because they were incomplete data and hypertension. Proximal fracture femur were the most common cases with 20 (41.6%) compared with fractures of the distal 13 (27%) and medial 6 (12.5%). Results analysis of effect femur fracture location on blood pressure using the one way ANOVA test were obtained (p value = .254) for systole and (p value = .642) for diastole. This means that the effect of femur fracture location on blood pressure is significantly the same. Conclusion : The conclusion of this study is that location of fracture femur has no effect on the blood pressure patients at the Islamic Hospital of PKU Muhammadiyah Pekajangan.en_US
