dc.description.abstractPT Pertamina RU V Balikpapan is one of the seven oil refineries owned by PT Pertamina (Persero). Refining is a complex operation that depends upon high level of equipment reliability with a good strategic of maintenance and also a Zero Accident Target. A low level of equipment reliability can lead to an operation interruption that can also cause an operational shutdown. Therefore, equipment maintenance system that commonly known as MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) have to be done in punctually, precisely, suitable cost and zero accident. Problems that frequently happen during maintenance process is the delays of materials and services readiness information to execute the maintenance activity such as Vital Equipment Overhaul. This condition will cause an unsynchronized maintenance execution to the strategic oil management. The purpose of this study is to build a web based information system that can give detail information regarding the overhaul materials and services procurement status which the data derived from several applications such as MySAP, Procurement Online, Online Recommendation, etc. With a web based system on the RU V‟s intranet, employees-particularly overhaul related, will get an easy access to the system. The analysis method and information system design used is FAST development with feasibility analysis consideration. The result of the study shows that overhaul information system can provide information needed by employee and management. The information system may also provide the fastest and latest information that can easily accessed through the corporate intranet website. The system usability calculation shows a good result ranging around 84-85% for all users. The total usability also equal to 86% while the weighting total usability is worth of 86.07%.en_US
