Pra Rancangan Pabrik Sirup Glukosa dari Singkong dengan Kapasitas 60.000 ton / tahun
Abstract
Preliminary design of Glucose Syrup with capacity 60.000 ton/year is a
plant to be built in Lampung, in the area of land 24.400 m2. This chemical plant
will be operated for 330 day/year or 24 hours a day with 145 employees.
Raw material needed is cassava 9,0413 ton/hour and water 8,1372
ton/hour. There are two stages in this process, liquefaction and saccharification.
The liquefaction process will be operated at temperature 95˚C and the
saccharification process will be operated at temperature 60˚C, both of them are
operated at pressure about of 1 atm using Continuous Steared Tank Reaktor
(CSTR). The utility consist of 919.126,5 kg/hour of cooling water; 2.489,2
kg/hour of steam; 23,2 kg/hour of pressure air ; 30,381 lt/hour of Industrial
Diesel Oil (IDO); 27,867 lt/hour of fuel oil while the power of electricity of about
168 Kw provided by PLN. This chemical plant also use generator set as reserve.
An economic analysis shows that this chemical plant need to be covered
by fixed capital of about Rp. 1.250.383.646.522 ; working capital of about Rp
55.870.487.186; Percentage of return on investemen (ROI) before tax is 14,09%
while after tax is 7,04% ; Pay out time (POT) before tax is 5,24 years while after
tax is 8,03 years. The value of break evek point (BEP) is for about 40,45% and
shut down point (SDP) is of about 10,85 % . Based on this economic analysis, It
can be concluded that Glucose Syrup plant of 60.000 ton/year is feasible to be
built.
