[re]Stitch Tampa with Hillsborough river use Bubble Breath Technology
Abstract
Tampa is a downtown in the Florida, America. There’s Hillsborough river, which
running through over the city which has no presence caused by urban renewal
development. Expressway and More than 50% area in this city is parking area
caused environmental problem, the rain water running out directly to the river
over the street, make the rain water drainage empties and makes theres no
natural habitat for oyster and clamps then no reason for people come here.
Besides that, carbon dioxide issue became another problem.
The direction of this design is to looking for solution in the City of Tampa about
environmental problem especially in the parking area which has a large amount.
Using biomimicry approach author make bubble breath technology which
inspired by synthetic tree and adaptive architecture. Bubble breath technology is
an ecological infrastructure which apply in building envelope to decrease
carbondioxide pollution and control storm water in this downtown, in order to
[re]stitching Tampa’s people and Hillsborough river.
