    Abstract
    The Ammonium Nitrate plant from Ammonia and Nitric Acid gives very good prospect, considering the requirement of Ammonium Nitrate in Indonesia is progressively increase. This plant is upstream industries, because the product could be as intermediate product that used as the other industrial raw material, like agrochemical as insektisida, in mining industry as detonator. The process of Ammonium Nitrate from Ammonia and Nitric Acid uses prilling process. The reaction runs in Reactor Bubble Coloumn which 4 atm of pressure and 200 oC of temperature and Reactor cooler is Koil cooler. The Convert reaction is 98% and final product is 99% purity.This factory is designed with capacities 300.000 tons/year. Raw materials is 63.750 tons/year Ammonia 99,5 %, and Nitric Acid 60 % as much 236.250 tons/year. Plant works during 24 hours with once turn around. In a day, there are 4 divisible shift groups, which are 3 groups work while 1 group is holiday.Utility requirements cover : water as much 152.543,8 Tons/year, steam 20.583,9 tons/year, electrics 1.427,384 kW, fuel (Industrial Diesel oil) as much 584056,49 ltr/year ( 525,65084 tons/year).This factory is planned to be built up in 2016 at Gresik, with 44.190 m2, of land area building of 44.190 m2, 120 people of employees.Fixed Capital Investment needed is Rp 146.980.433,17. with working capital is Rp.277.708.273.456,75. Expenditure every year coverage Manufacturing Cost, as much Rp.19.107.456.350,47. and General Expense, as much Rp.272.634.797.374,35. Profit is obtained before tax is Rp.124.674.897.598,76. and after tax that Rp.62.337.448.799,38 Economic evaluation shows Return On Investnment ( ROI) before tax is 32,46 %, and after tax is 16,23 %. Pay Out Time ( POT) before tax is 2,35 year and after tax is 3,81 year. Break Event Point ( BEP) is 54,86 % while Shut Down Point ( SDP) is 36,78 %. Discounted Cash Flow ( DCF) is 24,35 %. From the analyses above it showed that the result was satisfied so the plant are interesting and appropriate to be built.
