Pra Rancangan Pabrik Amil Asetat Dari Amil Alkohol Dan Asam Asetat Kapasitas Produksi 10.000 Ton/Tahun
Abstract
Preliminary design of Amyl Acetate with capacity 10.000 ton/year is
plant to be built in Palembang, South Sumatera in the area of land 18.625 m2.
This chemical plant will be operated for 330 day/year or 24 hours a day with 167
employees.
Raw material needed is Amyl Alcohol 966,8330 Kg/hour, Acetate Acid
592,5236 Kg/hour and Sulfuric Acid 9,6163 Kg/hour. The production process will
be operated at temperature 100˚C, at pressure about of 1 atm using Continuous
Stirred Tank Reaktor (CSTR) with yield 90 % . The utiliy consist of 40.809,5228
kg/hour of cooling water; 3.541,6667 kg/hour of housing water; 527,3897 kg/hour
of steam; 11,3264 Lt/hour of Industrial Diesel Oil (IDO); 10,0228 Lt/hour of fuel
oil while the power of electricity of about 194 Kwh provided by PLN. This
chemical plant also use generator set as reserve.
Economic analysis shows thats this chemical plant need to be covered by
fixed capital of about Rp 68.948.522.794,24; working capital of about Rp
71.611.039.675,09. The profit before tax is Rp 26.470.233.505,73 while the
profit after tax is Rp 12.705.712.081,79. Percentage of return on investement
(ROI) before tax is 38,3913 % while after tax is 18,4278 %. Pay out time (POT)
before tax is 2,0665 years while after tax is 3,5177 years. The value of break even
point (BEP) is 46,49 % and shut down point (SDP) is 28,37 % with Discounted
Cash Flow Rate (DCFR) is 42,29 %. Based on the economic analysis, It is
concluded that plant design of Amyl Acetate with capacity 10.000 ton/years
visible to be built.
