Pendekatan Analisis Kelompok Untuk Mengelompokkan Hunian Sementara Korban Erupsi Merapi Berdasarkan Status Ketersediaan Bantuan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Dasar

Abstract

Merapi eruption disaster that occurred in October 2010 was so terrible and caused an enormous impact for the people of Yogyakarta and its surrounding regions especially people living around volcano Merapi. People living within dangerous zone of the Merapi eruption were evacuated to IDPs camps provided by local government and self-help community. Those IDPs camps, indeed, have different fulfillment of basic needs for their people. The purpose of this research is clustering of IDPs camps of Merapi eruption 2010 in the district of Sleman Yogyakarta based on the status of basic needs fulfillment. Cluster analysis are used to investigate the group of IDPs camps to assist the authorized official for taking appropriate actions. The result of this research showed that the percentage change in agglomeration coefficient which is usually used to determine the number of cluster formed is two groups but the authorized official suggested taking three groups as a poor, medium and sufficient camps for basic needs fulfillment that make them easy for taking action for the poor group as soon as possible.
