Hubungan Antara Dukungan Teman Sebaya Dan Kepercayaan Diri Korban Bullying
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the relationship between peer support and self
confidence of victims of bullying. Hypothesis used in this study is a positive relationship
between peer support and self confidence of victims of bullying. This means that the higher
the peer support, the higher the level of self confidence is, conversely the lower the peer
support, the lower the level of self-confidence is. The study included 38 subjects from three
vocational schools in Magelang. Data collection method used is using a scale. Peer support
scale used scale of Winarni (2014) which refers to the theory of House (1990) which consists
of 24 items and the self confidence used the scale that is made by the author himself who
refers to the theories of Lauster, 1992 (in Gufron) totaling 30 items. The sampling technique
that is used is snowball technique. The analyses were performed using SPSS 22 for Windows.
The results of the processing of the data showed that the correlation of coefficient is r = 0.468
and p = 0.002 (p <0.01). Then the hypothesis can be accepted.
