SITI NURUL DINI MULYATI, The Embedment of Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence of the Students in Grade V Islamic Primary School Al Amin Sinar Putih Bantul 2016 “Children hold a hope a family” is a classical idiom frequently heard in our environment. Even, in the commemoration of National Children Day, we can read the slogan “Children Are the Hope of Nation” or “Childhood is the Golden Peak”. Those expressions have given an indication that children have a very critical value in future. Therefore, to reach the noble objective, there must be an endeavor through education to the smart and characterized generation of nation. The aim of this research is to observe the method of embedding the emotional and spiritual intelligence of the students Grade V in the integrated Islamic Primary School of Sinar Putih Bantul. This is a qualitative research in the form of case study that is a research conducted intensively, accurately and deeply towards an organization, institution or certain phenomenon. The data were collected by means of three methods: interview, observation and documentation. Once the data were collected, it was then continued by doing data validation and data analysis. The result of this research is the methods of embedment of emotional and spiritual intelligence among students at Grade V in Integrated Islamic Primary School Sinar Putih Bantul implemented through learning, extracurricular activities, habit and culture. The activities in the great days were through modelling. Overall, the methods applied in the Embedment of Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence in Grade V in Integrated Islamic Primary School Sinar Putih Bantul are good and are close to be effective but because this school is still under development and still has some hindering factors, then the output expected to have emotional and spiritual intelligence completely is not able to be achieved. Thus, it can be stated that the result of the spiritual and emotional intelligence in this school is not achieved maximally.
