dc.description.abstractThis study aims to identify the level of speaking anxiety of the students in an English course. The research uses quantitative method. The instrument is adapted from Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety Questionnaire (FLSAQ) by Öztürk & Gürbüz (2014) for EFL contexts which have eighteen statements or items with five point-likert scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The data were analyzed by using SPSS and Microsoft excel. This research employed survey research specifically in 30 students conversation classes level 1-3 in an English course as participants. There are three factors of this research result. The highest score for speaking anxiety factors is fear negative of evaluation (Mean = 3,11, Std. Deviation= 0,13) then communication apprehension (Mean= 3,07, Std. Deviation= 0,09) and followed by test anxiety (Mean= 2,72, Std. Deviation= 0,08).en_US
