    Abstract
Classrooms are complex environments in which humans interact, depend on one person to another, and with a variety of unique characters in a specific social and physical environment. Class environment can be physical such as classrooms, classroom furniture, class cleanliness, chair tables and others. The classroom environment can also be non-physical, such as interaction, calm and comfort. The lecture building of FMIPA UII, Yogyakarta, is one of the new buildings within the Indonesian Islamic University, where the building is designed very modern, when viewed from the front has a large number of windows, but when it enters the building the room temperature is very heat, because the building has a lot of windows but only for lighting purposes if during the day, the lighting is also not evenly distributed only in certain parts. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility, comfort and facilities of existing infrastructure in the classrooms of FMIPA UII, Yogyakarta with the DMAIC method. Of the 40 respondents of the UII Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, there were 39 of them answering yes to the point that asking the room now has provided comfort in learning. This is because most of the rooms have been arranged in such a way as to provide comfort to students in the learning process. The problem that arises is the inadequate amount of air ventilation in the MIPA faculty building, so that the building cannot utilize the lighting and natural air circulation, therefore the MIPA faculty building is very wasteful of energy due to the use of lights and AC during the day.
