Tawakal kepada Allah dan Kepuasan Pernikahan

Abstract

 This study aims to examine the relationship between surrender to Allah and marital satisfaction. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive relationship between surrender to Allah and marital satisfaction. Subjects in this study were wifes or husbands as much as 201 people. Marital satisfactio measuring tool that is used to refer to the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (Fowers & Olson, 1993). Meanwhile, surrender to Allah measuring instrument refers to Tawakal kepada Allah's Scale (Sartika & Kurniawan, 2014). Methods of data analysis performed in this study using SPSS 16.0 program facility to test whether there is a relationship between surrender to Allah and marital satisfaction. Spearman correlation test showed a correlation of r = 0.410 dan p=0.00 (p<0.05), which means that there is a positive relationship between surrender to Allah and marital satisfaction. The results of this study note that the level of trust that owned the subject accounted for 16.8% in the process of improving marital satisfaction. Thus, this hypothesis is accepted.
