Hubungan antara Iklim Keluarga dengan Subjective Well Being pada Remaja Pertengahan

Abstract

This study attempted to search the association between subjective well being and family climate in middle age adolescence. The hyphotesis tested was any correlated between this both variables. Subjective well being and family climate have positive correlation. That's mean when the family climate was high, the subjective well being was followed high. Subjects of this research are students in SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta with assumption that many students spent long time with their family and live with their parents. Data were collected using two scales with modification. Subjective well being was modificated from Life Satisfaction Scale by Khramtsova, et.al (2007) and Bradburn Affect Balance Scale. The Family Climate scale was also modificated from Family Climate Inventory by Kurdek, et.al (1995). The collected data were processed by product moment analisis. Result indicated that subjective well being was very significantly related to family climate. The analysis shown r value-0,309 and p=0,000 (p<0,01). Based on analysis, the hyphothesis was accepted.
