Hubungan antara Viktimisasi Teman Sebaya dengan Orientasi Identitas pada Remaja
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between peer victimization and identity orientations in adolescents. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a negative relationship between peer victimization and identity orientations of adolescents. The subjects were students in PIRI junior high school at Ngaglik who are at the age of 12 to 15 years. The data were collected through two scales, the scale of the identity orientations of the researchers adapted AIQ-IV scale (Aspects of Identity Questionnaire) made by Cheek and Briggs (2013), while the scale of peer victimization researchers were adapted from a scale Daily Peer victimization made by Morrow (2009). Data were analyzed by using non-parametric techniques of Spearman's correlations done with SPSS 18.0 for Windows. Acquisition r value of .164 with a p-value of .005 (p <0.05) showed that there was no negative relationship between peer victimization and identity orientations of adolescents. Thus, the hypothesis of the research proposal before was rejected.
