Hubungan antara Dukungan Keluarga dengan Resiliensi pada Penyintas Letusan Gunung Merapi
Abstract
This study attempted to search the correlation between social support (especially family support) and resiliency of volcano erupted survivors. The hyphothesis tested was based on the assumption that higher social support (family support) was correlated with higher resiliency. There is positive correlation among social support (family support) and resiliency of volcano erupted survivors. Participants of this study are 62 people, consist of male and female of volcano erupted survivor adults. Their age range from 40 to 60 years who homeless and living in shelter that has been provided by the government. Data were collected by two scales include social support scale from House theory (1994) and resiliency scale from Glantz and Johnson scale (1999). The collected data were processes by product moment analysis. Result of the study indicated that social support (especially family support) was significantly related to resiliency with r value 0, 493, p = 0,000 (p < 0,01).
