    Abstract
This study examined the relationships of Big Five Personality Traits (neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness) and resilience among 232 students in Senior High School of 6 Yogyakarta, from X and XII grades, 14-18 years old. Researchers assumed that neuroticism was negatively related to resilience, but extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were positively related to resilience. Data were collected by include the adaptations of brief resilience scale (CD-RISC 10 item) from Notario-Pacheco et.al (2011) and Big Five Inventory SOEP scale (BFI-S 15 item) from Lang et.al (2011). Non-Parametric Spearman’s Rho analysis was used to test the hypothesis. The results of this study showed significant negative relationships between neuroticism and resilience, while extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness were significantly positively correlated with resilience. Besides that, the results also showed that neuroticism and extraversion levels in female tend to be higher than male.
