    Abstract
    The Background of this study is that all parents would want their children to be a righteous and nice people. But in reality, unconsciously they actually treat their children in a way that leads away from the realization of their ideals or even plunges to the opposite condition. Lots of parents are busy to find a living, their activities were need a lot of time, so that less time left to give education, especially children's islamic religious education. only a few parents that work and still give attention in children's needs to explore religion science in formal and non-formal institutions such as send their children into education Qur'an (TPA) at the village mosque. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Islamic education in families whose parents worked as a civil servant and not. The results showed: 1) Factor Purpose. 2) Factor Educators. 3) Factors in Students. 4) Material Educators Factor. 5) Factor Method. 6) Environmental Factors. Advantages and Disadvantages: as a Civil Servant, Private Employees, Wholesalers, Self Employed, Farmers and Workers: a) Parents who work and still give attention to the Islamic education, at least by including the children to the Qur'an Education Place (TPA / BTA). b) The flurry of work becomes an obstacle for parents because they can't monitor and control the children's behavior. This study is a action research. The approach that used is a sociological approach. Subjects were parents who worked as a civil servant and not civil servants, have children aged 0-16 years and a Muslim family, the methods used in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation, analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of qualitative data.
