Abstract

Metilanin Factory is planned with the capacity of 15.000 ton/year,with the main source Anilin concentrate of 99.5% with 1697.68 kg/hour of mass and methanol concentrate of 99% with 570,76 kg/hour ofmass.The product result is Metilanilin with concentrate of 99% with 1893.94 kg/hour ofmass.The factory operates continuously during 330 days in a year.Thisfactory is planned to be established in Tangerang,Banten as a strategic industrial area,width ofthe land is 10,000 m² and the employers needed are 302 people. The reaction happened is non-adiabatis and non isothermal in the reactor fixed bed multitube on the temperature 277-365 °C with pressure 3 atm using alumina catalisator.Because the reaction has ecsotermis character,then in to maint in the operation temperature shall use thefreeze down term A that isflown inside the shell. Utilities needed content of water with 81718.83 kg/hour,steam on temperature of 220 °Cand the pressure of 344psia with 2676.85 kg.j,downterm A at 17560.29 kg/j,electricitypowerfor 150 kwatt supplyfron PLNwith the backup ofonegenerator,thefuel with oil dieselforgenerator 150.78littre/hour,andfuel for boiler 278.57 littre/hour. Fixed capital needed is Rp.148,454,541,297.81 and working capital 99.981.407.339,01 so that fixed capital + working capital Rp Rp.248,435,948,636.82 Manufacturing cost Rp Rp.272.086.315.545,44.and general expenses is Rp.81,012,258,449.05 The profit before tax Rp 66,901,427,349.52 and aftertax 33,45,713,674.76 Thisfactory is included the low risk factory with the Return of Investment (ROI) before tax is 45.07% nad after tax is 22.53%.Pay out time before tax is 1.82yearsandafter tax3.07years.DCF is 27.63%.BEP is 42.15% andSDP is 25.46%.Based on the economic evaluation above,the establishment ofthisfactory is a worth consideration.
