Abstract

This study aimed to examine the relationship between variables then in mariage with variable communication apprehension on married couples. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a negative relationship between the Trust In mariage with communication apprehension, ie, the higher the confidence level, the lower the anxiety of communication. Subjects in the study were adolescents aged <37 to> 37 years in the area of Bantul, Sleman and Gringsing. Data collection using two scales were adapted, the scale kepercyaan in the wedding of scale Yamagishi (1994) based on the aspects of the situation can be foreseen, reliable and state of confidence and anxiety scale communication on a couple of scale Personal Report of Communication Apprehension Spouse (PRSCA; Powers & Hutchinson, 1979). Conversely, the lower the Trust In marige the higher Spouse Apprehension communication besides the results also showed r = r2 = 0679 and 0461.
