    Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between emotion regulation and verbal aggression among adolescent online gamers. Adolescence, a period characterized by emotional instability, has the potential to give rise to aggressive behavior, including verbal aggression, particularly in the context of online gaming. Emotion regulation is hypothesized to be a key factor in controlling such behavior. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The study sample consisted of 344 adolescent online gamers selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and the Verbal Aggressiveness Scale (VAS), and analyzed using correlation tests. The results of the analysis indicate a significant negative relationship between emotion regulation and verbal aggression (r = -0.393; p < 0.05). This suggests that the higher the level of emotion regulation, the lower the level of verbal aggression. Thus, emotion regulation plays a crucial role in mitigating tendencies toward verbal aggression among adolescent online gamers.
