Hubungan antara Kepuasan Kerja dengan Kebahagiaan Otentik pada Pegawai Bidang Mutasi dan Bidang Status Kepegawaian dan Pensiun Kanreg I Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN)

Abstract

The aim of the study is exam correlation between Job Satisfaction and Authentic Happiness at mutation field employees and their employment status and pension Kantor Regional | Badan Kepegawaian Negara. The hypothesis tested was based on the assumption higher job satisfaction, higher states of authentic happiness, the same contrarily. The subject for the research were 50 employee of Badan Kepegawaian Negara in Yogyakarta State Province to accordance with predetermined scale from Smith, Kendall, and Hullin (Munandar, 2004) and Authentic Happiness from Seligman (2005). The Collected data were analyzed by Product Moment from Karl Pearson technique with enter method. The result of analyze showed that job satisfaction was a very correlated to authentic happiness with level r value 0,738 with p=0.000 (<0,01). Based on this finding, the hypothesis was accepted. Further data analyze to investigate that scale of wage (income) are correlated to authentic happiness. The result of analyze showed that not correlated scale income to authentic happiness scale 2 and scale 3 t =0,470, value p = 0, 641 (>0,05), it means that both are not different, at level of wage scale 2 and 4 showed that t = 0,588, p=0,564 (>0,05), both are not different. Last correlated was on 3 and 4 scale of wage showed that t = 0,242, with p value =0,810 (>0,05). Aspect of job satisfaction on wage are lowest contribute to authentic happiness with R square value 0,144, it means that this aspect only 14,4% influence to authentic happiness variable.
