This study aims to analyse the relationship between family support and psychological well being. The research hypothesis proposed is predicted there will be a positive relationship between family support and psychological well being of full-time working mother. The subjects were civil servants of Rengat Barat sub-district, Indragiri Hulu, Riau, which accounted for 105 people. The scale of family support was modified by researchers referring aspect proposed by Sarafino and Smith (2011) (r = 0.312 – 0.578; α = 0.793) and the psychological well-being scale was modified by researchers with reference to aspects of Ryff and Singer (2008) (r = 0.270 – 0.707; α = 0.884). The analytical method used in this study is Spearman Rho correlation method to analyse the relationship between family support and psychological well-being. The result shows the value of r = 0.406 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01) from Family support where psychological well being is able to explain the total variance in the amount of 15.2% (medium effect size). This suggests that there is a significant positive relationship between the support of the family and the psychological well-being of full-time working mother, hence the hypothesis is accepted.en_US
