Penurunan umur rencana akibat muatan berlebih aktual berdasar metode Bina Marga (1987) sebesar 4,137 tahun, berdasar metode NAASRA (2004) sebesar 3,954 tahun sedangkan dengan metode AASHTO (1993) sebesar
4,453 tahun.
Jalan Diponegoro, Cilacap, Central Java is the main route connecting several provinces, towns and districts in the southern region of Java, the road is heavily loaded by heavy vehicle cargo of goods, so potentially frequent violations of excess payload, excessive payload potentially affect the condition of paved roads that have been planned . Given these problems, this study aims to determine the effect of excessive load on heavy vehicles on road conditions, which include the vehicle damage factor, design life and the need for pavement thickness.
The data used using secondary data are actual vehicle weight data from weighing bridge Wanareja, LHR, existing pavement thickness, and age of road plan from P2JN, then calculation percentage of VDF value due to overload and decrease of plan age using vehicle damage factor method AASHTO (1993 ), NAASRA (2004), and Bina Marga (1987). Then calculate the n eed of pavement thickness with AASHTO modification method (1993).
The results of this study indicate that the overall effect of actual heavy loads of heavy vehicles the greater the percentage of excessive loads that occur can reduce the age of the plan and increase the need for thickness of pavement required. With the actual overload that occurred on Jalan Diponegoro, Cilacap obtained an increase in cumulative VDF value, based on Bina Marga method (1987) of 86.68%, based on NAASRA (2004) method of 81.57%, while with AASHTO (1993)
method 95.83%. Decrease of plan age due to actual overload based on Bina Marga method (1987)
is 4,137 years, based on NAASRA (2004) method 3,954 years while with AASHTO (1993) method
4,453 years. The need for thickness of the pavement due to actual overload, based on Bina Marga method (1987) obtained an increase of 9,93% from normal condition, based on method NAASRA (2004) equal to 9,41% while with AASHTO (1993) method equal to 10,69%. In the simulation of the percentage of overloaded load 10%, overloaded load has influenced the road condition, this data obtained by decreasing the age of 6 months plan with Bina Marga (1987) method, NAASRA (2004) and AASHTO (1993). The need for pavement thickness increased by 0.34 cm with VDF Bina Marga
1987, with a value of VDF NAASRA 2004 by 0.33 cm while the value of VDF AASHTO (1993) of
0.36 cm from normal conditions. | id |
