| dc.description.abstract | This study examined the relationship between spiritual well-being and satisfaction with life among of university students. This study tested the hypothesis that spiritual well-being has positive correlation with life satisfaction. The Spiritual Well-Being Scale (Paloutzian & Ellison, 1982; The SWB-Indonesian Version has coefficient reliability a =0.86, consists 20 items) and The Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener dkk, 1985; The SWLS-Indonesian Version has coefficient reliability a =0.65, consists 4 items) was administered to 100 Universitas Islam Indonesia students, ages 18-24, consist of 62% men and 38% women. Results reveal that perceived life satisfaction of Indonesian college students can be explained significantly by their spiritual well-being. Research findings, limitations, and recommendations are briefly discussed. | en_US |
