Museum Iklim dan Alam di Yogyakarta: Simulasi Ekosistem Alam ke Dalam Bangunan (Nature and Climate Museum in Yogyakarta: Application of Natural Ecosystem Simulation Into Building)

Abstract

Mother earth is a place that we live in, together with nature and all of its contents. Nature and human are unseperatable, we live together and for so long time ago humans are trying to always study and understanding about nature. But unfortunately, our beloved earth are endangered with the glass house efect that may damaged nature and changing climate. Those efects are getting huge day by day and threatening the life of our next generation. The worst scenario that might be happened in the year 2050 is the earth will not be able to have as many natural life as what we have now. According to the first paragraph, the writer composing a scenario that children at the age of elemantary school in the year 2050 will have to study nature as one of their cumpolsury subject. They will need a building to accomplish this scenario, a building that could be a place where they can feel the nature and wild life without going to its natural habitat. Introducing Nature and Climate Museum, a design that expected to fulfill the need of children to accomplish their school subject. Furthermore, Nature and Climate Museum is not just a building for children, but also for adults and another public visitors that designed and built nowadays. This building will adopt nature wild life, letting the biomes to live inside also with all of its natural atmosphere. Building will divided into for big exhibition rooms, those rooms will presenting four different climates and biomes.
