dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to know the correlation between self-autonomy and happiness in first year student. This researced use two scales, that were (a) scale of happiness (19 items) which reffered to Selligman (2005) theory with α= 0,851 and (b). Scale of self-autonomy (20 items) which reffered to Steinberg (Dewi&Valentina,2013) with α= 0,797. The analysis show correlation coefficient r = 0,051 with significance p>0,05. Based on the result of research known that there is no correlation between self-autonomy and happiness in first year student, the hypotheses in this research is not accepted.en_US
